Port St. Lucie and St. Lucie County is a prime location with waterfrontage along the St. Lucie River. We have done many docks, boat lifts, and pilings in Port St. Lucie.
We build and rebuild fixed docks, access piers, terminal platforms and related marine structures sized for your Port St. Lucie shoreline. The work covers site assessment, engineered plans when required, permit coordination, pile driving from the barge, framing and finish decking.
We install boat lifts and PWC lifts on driven pilings. As an authorized Hurricane Boat Lifts dealer, we match capacity and hardware to your vessel and to Port St. Lucie water conditions.
We install and repair seawalls and rip-rap to reduce erosion and wake impact. Cap repairs, partial replacements and full rebuilds are scoped after an on-water assessment.
We dredge boat slips and lift-access areas, with turbidity controls and permits coordinated alongside dock or lift work when required.
We coordinate residential marine permitting and work with marine engineers when stamped plans are required.
Most Port St. Lucie waterfront lots sit on the North Fork of the St. Lucie River or on canals that connect to it. Canal width, water depth and the shoreline type set how far a dock or lift can extend.
Inside city limits, docks, boat lifts and seawalls are permitted through the City of Port St. Lucie Building Department. The city's dock checklist calls for plans signed and sealed by a licensed engineer or architect, a plot plan showing setbacks, and approval letters from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD).
City zoning limits how far private docks and lifts may protrude into a canal or waterway, based on its width. We size each layout to those limits before plans are drawn. Properties outside city limits fall under St. Lucie County permitting.
Parts of the North Fork are a state aquatic preserve managed by FDEP, which can add review for work over state-owned submerged lands.
Recent nearby work, by scope: a covered boat lift and dock on the St. Lucie River in Port St. Lucie, with a Hurricane 32K high-speed boat lift, a 7K jet ski lift, TimberTech decking, and plans by Shoreline Permit Design.
